We take your data protection serious. We process personal data, and have therefore implemented this privacy policy, that informs you of how we process your data.
We ensure a fair and transparent data processing
When we ask that you make your personal data available to us, we inform you about which data we process, and for what purpose. You will always be able to receive a notification about the time of collection of your personal data.

We apply data about you to improve our service and secure the quality of our products and services as well as our contact with you. The data we apply, comprises:

We collect and store your data regarding specific purposes or other legal business purposes. This occurs when we need to:
- Fulfil your request for products or services
- Adaptation of our communication and marketing to you
- Adaptation of our partners communication and marketing to you

- Fulfilment of legislations
We only process relevant personal data
We only process data about you that is relevant and sufficient in relation to the purpose that is defined above. The purpose is essential to determine which of the data about you is relevant to us. The same applies to the extent of the personal data we use. Fx. We don’t use more data than what we need for the specific purpose.
We only process necessary personal data
We only collect, process and store the personal data which is necessary in relation to fulfilling our provided purpose. Other than that, there could be legislation determining which types of data is necessary to collect and store for our business operations. The type and scope of the personal data we process, could also be necessary to fulfil a contract or other judicial obligation.
We check and update your personal information
We check that the personal data we process about you isn’t false or misguiding. We also make sure to update your personal data ongoing. Because our service is dependent on your data being correct and updated, we ask that you inform us of relevant changes in your data. We delete your personal data when it’s no longer necessary
We will delete your personal data when it’s no longer necessary in relation to the purpose that was the reason for our collection, processing and storage of your data.
We collect your consent before we process your personal data
We collect your consent before we process your personal data for the purposes described above unless we have a legal basis to collect them. We’ll inform you of such a basis and of our legitimate interest in processing your personal data. Your consent is voluntary and you can at any time withdraw it by contacting us.
We won’t forward your personal data without your consent
If we forward your personal data to partners and actors, fx. for use in marketing, we will collect your consent and inform you what your data will be used for. You can at any time object to this form of forwarding, and you can also decline any inquiries in a marketing purpose in the CPR-register. We will not collect your consent if we are judicially bound to forward your personal data, fx. as a part of a report to the authorities.
Information about data processing regarding the employment process
Innovation Lab will – by evaluating your profile in regards to employment – process all the documents, media and possible references that you append with your application. We reserve the right to contact references you may have included.
We will only process your data internally and your data will only be processed by people with a part in the application process. Your application and possible appended data will not get processed further after the employment process without your consent, and the data will be deleted without unnecessary delay.
We reserve the right to request a criminal record which we will delete when the involved parties have either approved or disproved it.
Security
We will protect your personal data and have internal rules about information security
We have adopted internal rules regarding information secure which contains instructions and measures which protect your personal data against deletion, loss, alteration, against unauthorized publication and against unauthorized individuals gain access or knowledge of them.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data
You have the right at any time to get informed of which data about you that we process, where they originate, and what we use them for. You can also get information of how long we keep your personal data and who receives data about you, in the extent we forward data in Denmark and abroad.
If you request it, we can also inform you of the data we process about you. The access could be restricted regarding other people’s privacy protection, for trade secrets and immaterial rights.

You have the right to get inaccurate personal data corrected or deleted
If you believe that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate you have the right to have it corrected. You must contact us and inform us of where the inaccuracies lie and how to correct them.
In some cases, we will have an obligation to delete your personal data. This applies fx. If you repeal your consent. If you believe that your data are no longer necessary compared to the purpose which we collected them for, you can ask to have your data deleted. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed contrary to the legislation or other judicial obligations.
When you approach us with a request to have your personal data corrected or deleted, we will examine if the conditions are met, and if so we will implement any changes or deletions as fast as possible.
You have the right to oppose our processing of your personal data.
You can also oppose our forwarding of your data for marketing purposes. You can use the contact information at the top to send an opposition. If your opposition is justified we will make sure to cease the processing of your personal data.
What is a cookie?
An HTTP cookie is a small piece of data sent from a given website and stored on the user’s computer by the user’s web browser while the user is browsing the certain website. This gives the owner of the website access to stored information on the PC, smartphone, or tablet of the user.
Is Innovation Lab using cookies?
Yes – like everybody else, we are using cookies. We do this because we are interested in optimizing the usability of our webpage. For this, we use Google Analytics, which is described as a third party cookie, because it is administered by Google and not Innovation Lab. At the moment, we are not using other cookies, but we reserve the right for changing this with the purpose of further optimizing our webpage.
